Missy has always been a competitor, always striving to get better and help her teammates to succeed. Growing up, she was always going out for sports teams and was active with friends. Exercise has always been her outlet to let out stress and has provided confidence and a sense of accomplishment. After college, she was looking for a new niche and found racing. In order to find a way to cross-train, she found a local cycling class and fell in love. She loved spinning because you could push yourself as an individual, but also feel the vibe of working with a team to complete the challenging workout. As her love of spinning continued, she decided to try other fitness classes to help her grow mentally and physically. Today, she loves to help others become their best selves, through instructing group exercise classes. Be prepared to work hard, but always have a blast!
What can you expect in Missy’s classes:
My goal is to have you dripping in sweat when you leave the room, but also have fun while doing it! I like high intensity intervals and sprints.
What kind of music can you expect? A little of everything! From Rock and Roll such as AC/DC, Aerosmith and Queen, to Club Hip Hop like David Guetta and Calvin Harris, to songs that get you pumped up from The Killers, Eminem and Beyoncé. Every workout is a little different!
Missy’s favorite thing about BPM:
I love the instructors and team at BPM. They will challenge you with a tough workout and push you past your limits, but they are also a lot of fun. They exude confidence and happiness. They bring “it” every class and make you leave each workout experience wanting to go after more. Oh…and you can’t forget the dogs too! I mean who doesn’t love to be greeted by our four-legged, adorable Ella.
